APHL has a long history as the professional association for laboratory leaders and laboratories serving the public’s health. APHL is dedicated to safeguarding the public’s health via leadership-through-science. To this end, the association works to advance laboratory systems and practices and to promote policies that strengthen its members’ ability to carry out core functions.
