The 8th National Conference on Laboratory Aspects of Tuberculosis will be held at the Catamaran Resort Hotel in Mission Bay, San Diego from August 19-21, 2013. It will consist of plenary sessions, posters and an exhibit hall over the course of 2 ½ days.
The conference will focus on discussing ongoing shifts in the TB laboratory system in both diagnostic technology and service delivery. Other topics will include new methods to test for drug resistant tuberculosis; new drugs to treat drug resistant tuberculosis; the latest data on using molecular methods to test for TB; trouble shooting common problems in the TB laboratory; and global implications and practice.
This will be an excellent opportunity to hear the latest on these topics and to network, gain insights and find solutions from colleagues in this challenging field.
