Involvement with APHL
Those involved with APHL Global Health tell us they appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with innovative leaders and to train motivated laboratorians in new knowledge and skills.

Opportunities with APHL Global Health
Consultant
We occasionally have the opportunity for consultancy projects, with potential opportunities to travel usually ranging from 1-2 weeks in length. Our areas of greatest need include strategic and operational planning, technical training, mentoring, assessment, requirements determination, technology transfer and quality systems documentation development. Opportunities for consultancy may include remote support or in-country activities depending on country need.
Laboratory Twinning
With the support of your US public health laboratory director, you may register your interest in a twinning opportunity, should one arise. Laboratory twinning usually involves a long-term linkage between a US public health laboratory and a partner laboratory in a low-middle income country. Activities may involve ongoing exchange of expertise/best practices, sharing resources, email communication, web-based meetings and exchange visits between the laboratories.
