Page Content On this webpage you will find a compilation of example practices, tools and resources that other jurisdictions have used in their virologic surveillance activities and Right Size Roadmap implementation. New resources have been added to the list below since the publication of the 2nd Edition of the Right Size Roadmap (indicated "NEW" in front of the document title). Also included are a few valuable resources from APHL and other organizations. These are intended only to provide examples and not all practices listed here will be applicable to every jurisdiction. Jurisdictions should choose examples that best fit their needs and tailor as needed. Practices listed on this page are developed and reviewed by APHL members and peers in the public health field. These practices and resources are not endorsed by APHL, CDC and the Right Size Working Group, and as such, application of these example practices is not required for federal funding. Basic Test/Batch Cost Accounting Tool Template (must have website login credentials) Advanced/Detailed Cost Accounting Tool Template (must have website login credentials) Uses Determining the cost per test of a specific test method based on reagents, consumables, labor, overhead and miscellaneous costs. The advanced tool allows for more detail on labor, administrative and overhead costs.
