APHL, with funding support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is pleased to offer funds to one state, local or territorial laboratory to initiate or augment an existing Biomonitoring project in the selected applicant's jurisdiction.
State, local, or territorial laboratories are eligible to submit proposals. Preference will be given to those laboratories that are members of the National Biomonitoring Network (NBN). Interested parties must submit a proposal to APHL that provides all of the information specified in the
Requirements section below. In order to be considered, complete proposals must be submitted no later than the Proposed Due Date specified in the
Anticipated RFP Schedule section below. Applicants will find proposal submission information in the
Response Submittal section below.

APHL anticipates the following schedule for the entire competitive bidding process:
February 23, 2021 - RFP Issued to aphl.org/rfp (APHL Procurement Site)
March 23, 2021 - Complete proposals due to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5:00PM ET
March 30, 2021 - Proposal Review and Follow-Up Completed
April 2, 2021 - APHL will notify candidate(s) of selection decision
April 5, 2021 - Selected applicant(s) posted to aphl.org/rfp
April 6, 2021 - Awards Announced
APHL will communicate any modification to this schedule on APHL’s procurement site, www.aphl.org/rfp.
APHL must receive complete responses by no later than

APHL will send an email to each applicant acknowledging the receipt of their application. Any applicant who does not receive an email acknowledgement within 48 hours of the Final Response Deadline should email the RFP point of contact above to confirm receipt.
APHL will distribute a one-time award of $20,000 to one state, local, or territorial public health laboratory. Award notifications will be sent via e-mail and awardees will receive funding through a contractual agreement with APHL.
